Chicken with bell peppers

Last week i have made an easiest dinner ever, chicken with peppers. Juice, loaded with fresh herbs. You can have it with pasta or brown rice. I had a whole chicken, but you can use any part of bird you like…

  • Whole chicken
  • 3 bell peppers
  • 2 medium garlic claws
  • tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup good dry white wine
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  •  A DASH OF CHILI FLAKES (OPTIONAL)
  • fresh herbs(I used oregano and thyme)

Turn your oven to 350F degrees, we will need it later…

Divide chicken into pieces, salt and pepper it. Make your skillet very hot and fry it until golden brown. Meanwhile slice you peppers into stripes,  chop garlic. Put browned chicken into the bowl, lower the heat. Place  peppers and garlic on same skillet. Stew them a little bit and add wine. Wait until alcohol from wine evaporate.  Place chicken back into skillet add chili flakes and herbs. Cover it with lid ( i do not have one, so i just used foil) and put into oven for 15-17 minutes until done. Enjoy…
